Our Mission

Free Bikes 4 Kidz is a nonprofit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. We collect bicycles from the public, refurbish them with hundreds of volunteers starting in October, and give them away directly to kids in need and to Maryland nonprofits in December.

Since 2019 we have given away

Our sponsors include Prologis, Howard County, The Howard Hughes Corporation, Trek, SafeKids, Park Tool, QBP, the Harkins Foundation, the MDOT Highway Safety Office, and BGE.
