Volunteer for Giveaway Days
Thank you for your interest in volunteering to help us give away bikes next year. Watch this space for dates and locations.
These will be big days for the kids in our community as they receive a shiny bike with a new helmet! We have many volunteer positions we need to fill to make the day run smoothly for our bike recipients. Please select from one of the following positions and you’ll be taken to a calendar to sign up for a shift (descriptions are above each button)
We can use volunteers with any level of experience with bicycles!

The Greeter will collect tickets or scan QR codes of bike recipients as they arrive at the warehouse and issue them a wristband.
The Bike Sizer will measure the height of children to determine the size of bike they need.
The Helmet Fitter will fit each child receiving a bike with a new helmet.
The Bike Fitter will help a child shop for a new bike in their size. This role requires cycling knowledge and experience.
The Bike Wrangler will restock bikes from our inventory as bikes are chosen from the shopping area by kids. This is a great role for teenagers and even younger volunteers!
The Giveaway Day Mechanic will help address any mechanical issues that arise – adjust saddles and handlebars and fixing any problems.
